Dinosaurs?

Hmm. For no apparent reason whatsoever I've always seemed to associate Damien Jurado with dinosaurs. Don't know why. (J suggested that it was due to the fact that he's got the same initials as Dinosaur Jr?) Anyway. Free concert yesterday at la Pedrera.

And it was GOOD!!!!! Absolutely fucking brilliant! J sat there crying for the whole gig, and I was just frozen, with my mouth open, in awe.

I'd expected slow, good, yeah yeah -but nothing fantastic! (and J had warned me that she, herself thought she was going to get bored..) Instead we were just sat there like two idiots, totally taken. Straight in, ey. All the way.

Just plain amazing.

Well, now at least I know.
